Sami Abbasi

Sami is a co-founder of Unifeye Vision Partners and served as the company’s CEO from January 2017 through December 2021.  In January 2022, he moved to a position on UVP’s Board of Directors, where he continues to serve today.

Sami has spent his entire career in healthcare services, where he has a long track record of leading and founding healthcare organizations that have led meaningful change in their segments. For over thirty years, he has successfully grown businesses in the physician practice and multi-site healthcare markets.

He is currently an Operating Partner with Sun Capital Partners, and previously held CEO positions for successful publicly traded and private equity-backed healthcare companies in the anesthesiology, pathology, surgery center and radiology markets.

Sami earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
